If you have recorded an entry, you can use our AI editing assistant or edit your story yourself. Once you have recorded your story (see Write or record an entry), select ‘Polish with AI’

The ‘Polish with AI’ screen enables you to choose your English variant from ‘No preference’ (which defaults to American English), Australian English, American English or UK English.

Select editing instructions from one of the prompt fields or write your own instructions then select ‘Generate’.

After a few seconds (depending on the length of the transcript), the modified version of your transcript will appear in a second tab, titled ‘Modified’. The original transcript of your recording is retained under the ‘Transcription’ tab.

If you want to adjust the instructions you have to the AI polisher, just click ‘Polish with AI’ again and enter different instructions. You can add the modified or the transcribed version to your book by clicking ‘Add to page’. You can edit this content yourself directly once added to the page.
